Iron Man

So, I haven't posted anything in a few weeks and I couldn't think of anything else to talk about, so I decided to talk about the movie Iron Man. I wanted to find a cool movie poster to post with my blog, but I got distracted when I saw that someone had made an Iron Man out of Legos bricks. That lead me to a page on Instructables showing how to create a Darth Vader Lego Mosaic. What can I say, I'm easily distracted...

Anyways, I've been looking forward to seeing this movie for awhile. I thought Robert Downey, Jr. would make a terrific Tony Stark, the plot sounded interesting and I was really excited to see the special effects.

We finally got to see it yesterday and I was very impressed. The story was good, the acting was good, the fighting scenes were good, and the effects were very impressive. I'm a little jealous, I think Marvel is doing so much better than DC with their movie franchises lately. With a new Hulk movie coming out soon and talk of other movies leading up to an Avengers movie, things are really looking up for them.

After watching the movie, I came across a couple of places that claimed that you could see Captain America's shield, so I went online to investigate. The shield is supposedly on the workbench, under Stark's right arm. Although it does kinda look like it and it would be a nice tie-in, why on earth would Iron Man be building a round red, white, and blue shield with a star on it? It makes no sense.

I agree, Marvel is doing great lately with their movies, but come on, Dark Knight look incredible. I'm really looking forward to that one.

I too really enjoyed Iron Man (more than I thought I would, I would put it up there with Batman Begins, really well done). I want to go see Hulk, but it doen't look as good as Iron Man (still looks good though), but Dark Knight should be great.

And what a great picture it is! (its Mel now) If I was any kind of wife, I'd use a picture of both of us.

I liked that movie too, I totally want to get it.
